Tryptify

Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms cover Tryptify Cloud, the paid music storage offered by tryptz ("we", "us"), and the Tryptify account you use to sign in to it. By starting a trial or a subscription you agree to them. The Tryptify app itself is free, open-source software under the GNU General Public License v3; that licence, not these terms, governs the app's code.

1. The service

Tryptify Cloud stores music files you upload and streams them back to you through the Subsonic API, for playback in the Tryptify app. The plans, their storage and their prices are listed on the pricing page.

2. Your account

You need a Tryptify account to use Tryptify Cloud, and you are responsible for keeping its sign-in safe. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher. One person per account: do not share it.

3. Payment and renewal

Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), our merchant of record. Creem is the seller of record for your purchase and its own terms also apply to the payment. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. Prices may include or add sales tax or VAT, as shown at checkout. If we change a price, the change applies from your next renewal after we tell you, and you can cancel before then.

4. Free trial

A 7-day free trial with 20 GB of storage is offered once per account, on monthly plans. A payment card is required to start it. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose starts and your card is charged for its first month.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in the app (Settings › Connections › Tryptify Cloud › Manage or cancel subscription) or from the link in Creem's emails. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. See our refund policy for refunds.

6. When a plan ends

When a plan ends, by cancelling or because a payment fails, your library becomes read-only for 7 days: you can still play and download your music, but not upload. After those 7 days your files and library are permanently deleted. After a refund or a chargeback, this window is 2 days.

7. Your music

You keep all rights to what you upload. You give us only the permission needed to store your files, process them (for example reading their tags and covers) and stream them back to you. You may upload only music you own or have the right to copy, for your own personal listening. Tryptify Cloud is not for distributing or publicly sharing music. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break this or the law, including after a valid copyright notice sent to the address below.

8. Fair use and limits

Each plan has a storage limit. Uploads stop when you reach it; you are never charged extra for going over. Single files may be up to 2 GB. Do not attempt to break, overload or get around the service's limits or security, or use it to store anything other than music and its cover art.

9. Availability and your originals

We work to keep Tryptify Cloud fast and available, but it is provided "as is", without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. It is a streaming service, not a backup: always keep your own copies of your files.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Ending the service

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering Tryptify Cloud, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can download your music, and refund any unused prepaid period.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
